156. . 10-41. Previous: 30th. Cleveland Cavaliers. 28. team

Even as rookie Collin Sexton, veteran Tristan Thompson and new roster mate Alec Burks are finding offensive success the squad pales in comparison to pretty much every other team in the NBA.

They grab an occasional victory, but entering week 16 still have just 10 wins on the season. Ironically, only three of their 10 wins have come against the lowly Hawks, Bulls and Knicks.

Moving forward, the Cavaliers seem committed to the trio tank – i.e. making sure they capture one of those coveted 14 percent equal opportunities to capture the top draft pick.  The one thing the Cavaliers have consistently done well this season is shoot from the perimeter fortunately for them they don’t it well enough, often enough or consistently enough to jeopardize them moving out of those bottom three spots.

Cleveland jumped into deadline week early moving on from Rodney Hood via a trade with the Utah Jazz. This is surely just the first of many Cleveland products likely leaving the Land. Again, check back on Thursday for week 16 power rankings for more on this. Additionally, don’t miss Thunderous Intentions trade series where we offer a trade primer by team with a view to players who might be of interest to the OKC Thunder.
