Josh Okogie:

Shooting guard, Minnesota Timberwolves: 7.6  points, 1.2 assists, 3.0  rebounds, 1.0 steals.

With each month of play, the Georgia Tech product has seen growth in this game. Perhaps Ryan Saunders has more faith in him and that’s leading to production on the court.

An energy player who is an adept defender and driving the paint. In his first 33 games, he scored in double digits only eight times with six of those performances coming in his first eight games. In the next 16 games, he’s hit double-digits in half of them. Okogie‘s high scoring game came against the Suns with 21 points.

Showcasing his defensive abilities he’s grabbed between one and two steals on 25 occasions and three or four steals in five games. He’s also registered one to two blocks in 14 games and snared three blocks versus the Lakers.

Yet, his most impressive block came this week against James Harden in a critical stop at the game end.
