The whole purpose of trading Porzingis and sending out Tim Hardaway‘s big contract was to create cap space in order to pursue two megastars this summer.  But by acting in the manner they did after the fact,  all it did is re-establish nothing has changed. In other words, the Knicks still don’t know how to treat their players and specifically their stars.

The irony of their actions is the presumed targets are Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Ironic because of all the free agents who’ll hit the summer recruiting circuit these two are the first to complain publicly if something or someone doesn’t meet with their approval. Surely the Unicorn shade won’t go unnoticed by either star. Case in point…
