That’s another regular season sweep of a division rival.

Two games prior to last night’s contest against the Jazz, the Thunder went to Portland and beat the Trail Blazers on the road once again to complete a regular season sweep. Last night was déjà vu in the best way possible. OKC went into Vivint Smart Home Arena hungry to make another statement win, and they did just that with their victory over the Jazz to complete another regular season sweep of a division rival.

OKC’s confidence is now riding high. Dejected and exhausted, the Jazz took the painful loss and fell to eighth in the Western Conference standings while the Thunder maintains a half-game lead over the Trail Blazers.

Oklahoma City has one more game against the Denver Nuggets at home on March 29 and one more game on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves on April 27 to complete their regular season division series. The Thunder would do well to secure wins in both games to stay above .500 within the Northwest Division as they are currently 0-3 against both teams.
