SG. Oklahoma City Thunder. TERRANCE FERGUSON. B-.

A bit of a mixed bag for Terrence Ferguson who can’t be blamed for not being involved in the offense if they aren’t giving him opportunities to shoot. Defensively it’s hard to complain about his effort because part of the reason the Nets kept going inside was that their perimeter wasn’t open and TFerg was part of the reason why.

Having to guard Joe Harris isn’t an easy assignment and Ferg ended up on him a few times. Harris demonstrated just how pure his shot is late in the game when he connected on two deep shots to make the score look closer than it was although Ferguson was not guarding him at this point.

Two other takeaways here is Ferguson took a triple late in the game which he missed that seemed to spark some sort of angst from Billy Donovan. And, he also took a hard hit to the throat from Ed Davis.

Ferguson finished with 2 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists. and a steal. And, he was second only to Westbrook in plus/minus in the game with a plus 15.  If his grade seems a bit high, his defensive effort is why he rises above a ‘C’.
