Clearly, this squad is better when Joel Embiid is in the mix. The 76ers registered a .500 record while Embiid was out for eight games. With his return, the 76ers immediately looked like a powerhouse defeating the team they are in a battle with to claim the third seed.  Not only did they defeat the Pacers but they did so by a 17 point margin.
