Player Grades

D. . PG. Oklahoma City Thunder. RUSSELL WESTBROOK

I thought Russell played very, very poorly tonight. He did start the game very good, as did the team. However, once the Blazers started getting hot and getting back into the game, Russ’ defense fell apart and so did the rest of his game. Lillard thoroughly out-played him this evening, and he needs to play like a superstar if OKC wants to bounce back from this embarrassment of a game.

D. . SG. Oklahoma City Thunder. TERRANCE FERGUSON

Not a good night from Terrance Ferguson. He could not stay on the floor due to foul trouble and he failed to make many of his open looks when he had the opportunity to shoot the ball. Ferguson must be better, and not pick up silly fouls if the Thunder want to win this series.

B+. . SF. Oklahoma City Thunder. PAUL GEORGE

Paul George rebounded nicely from his awful Game 1 performance. He finished the night with 27 points on 11-20 shooting. He was plagued with foul trouble and didn’t have his greatest of defensive games.

Oklahoma City Thunder. JERAMI GRANT. D. . PF

Ghastly night from Jerami Grant. While his defense remained sound, he was M.I.A. on the offensive end as he couldn’t buy a bucket. He finished with just 5 points on 1 of 7 shooting. He needs to score for this team to be effective.

C+. . C. Oklahoma City Thunder. STEVEN ADAMS

Adams was solid in the interior tonight but struggled in pick and roll defense. Too many times that a Blazers guard got by him for an easy basket or kick out to an open shooter. Adams must be better, as everyone else, if the OKC Thunder want to turn this thing around.
