Westbrook Knows What Must Done

When the Thunder were spiraling out of control and severally hemorrhaging near the end of the season, after falling to the Raptors in OT inside the Peake the team was in a position to lose their home-in-home with the squad from the North.

However, Westbrook put on his defensive performance of the season, and shutdown Kawhi Leonard and Pascal Siakam. In order for this series to turn around Westbrook must put the mental games aside, and take pride in defending Damian Lillard.

No player on the Thunder is better equipped to guard Dame Dolla, than the Brodie. Thus far in the series, Westbrook has only traveled 2.50 miles on defense, whereas Paul George has traveled 2.90 miles on defense.

It appears Russ has cared more about registering triple-doubles than accepting the challenge of limiting Lillard. So long as Russ changes his mentality starting tonight, the series will flip in favor of the Thunder.
