Rising and falling stock:

As expected solid showings at the combine can shift a player up or down. For example, Steve Kyler tweeted Bol Bol’s stock dropped due to health concerns which should see him slip several spots on the draft board.

T.I.s mock draft 1.0 was almost completed before the Combine event finished although, I did touch on a few players whose stock rose like Nicolas Claxton and Jordan Bone. Likewise, I noted how poorly Grant Williams performed which couldn’t help but have executives considering dropping him down a few pegs.

The one consensus player whose stock rose was Croatian forward Luka Samanic who jetted over to participate. Not sure if it’s a viable comparison, but I couldn’t help but think of Kristaps Porzingis and how his stock just kept rising like a thermometer on a hot day in his draft year. We’ll have to keep watch to see if Samanic’s stock gains momentum as draft night nears.
