Top 5 Undrafted players OKC Thunder should take another look at
By Rylan Stiles
Louis King is a forward from the University of Oregon who was ranked 38th on Kevin O’Connor‘s NBA Draft Big Board. Kevin O’Connor is a guy who I trust a ton when it comes to gaining whatever NBA Draft information I may need. For him to have a guy in the ’30s, that falls out of the entire NBA Draft, tells me there is a ton of talent there.
King averaged 13 points per game, with 5 rebounds a game, and a 38 percent three-point shooter a year ago. At just 20 years old, King has a ton of upside to offer NBA teams and for a cheap price after shockingly going undrafted.
King has a torn meniscus in his past, but outside of that, which was in high school, no other red flags seem to present themselves.
The OKC Thunder could at the very least offer King a two-way contract and allow him to grow in the NBA Summer League before spending time in the G-League with the OKC Blue. King has a shot to be this year’s Deonte Burton, only without the crazy athletic dunks.
