For the first time since 2009, the Kansas Jayhawks did not see a player get drafted in the NBA draft. Dedric Lawson presents an interesting target for teams who are still looking to improve post the NBA draft.

Dedric Lawson is without question a top 60 talent, in my mind, and for my money, it is one of the best avenues the OKC Thunder can explore in an effort to get better.

Lawson was a focal point of the Kansas Jayhawks, and the only reason the Jayhawks were able to keep their heads above water.

A good floor spacing big man who is worth taking a chance on for NBA clubs. Lawson is a great passer, and offensive facilitator as well.

One thing that will hold him back in the NBA, when he does get a shot, is the fact that he can not switch defensively, which is almost a must in today’s NBA.

NOTE: Dedric Lawson was picked up by the Golden State Warriors as apart of their G-League organization, and will play in the NBA Summer League.
