The hits keep coming as Adrian Wojnarowski drops another bombshell on OKC Thunder fans. Russell Westbrook will meet with Sam Presti to discuss the star point guard’s future.

Last night, into the early morning, Oklahoma City was hit with something they have grown all too familiar with other the last 11 years. No, it was not a devastating Tornado, and also, not a literal earthquake. Instead, the OKC Thunder fanbase was hit with something commonly referred to as a “Woj bomb.”

Last night, it was unearthed that Paul George was actively recruited by Kawhi Leonard to demand a trade and force his way to the Los Angeles Clippers, a move all too common for superstars in today’s NBA.

Like so many times in the last few years, this move left OKC Thunder fans scrambling, staying up all night, and wonder “What’s next?”

Will the Thunder go into full rebuild mode and have a firesale? Will they remain steady and continue to try and build around Russell Westbrook with the assets they just netted from Paul George? What happens next?

More from Thunderous Intentions

Well, it turns out all of us on Twitter aren’t the only ones wondering that. The face of basketball in Oklahoma City, Russell Westbrook, is also wondering that same thing.

Adrian Wojnarowski outlined the fact that Russell Westbrook will meet with Sam Presti to discuss his future in the organization that he helped build.

All we know for sure is that the meeting will be between OKC Thunder general manager Sam Presti, star point guard Russell Westbrook, as well as his agent Thad Foucher.

Will the Thunder elect to part ways with Westbrook? Is there even a market for the soon to be 31-year-old that is worthwhile?

What if Russell Westbrook stays? Do they try to flip these assets quickly for another shot at adding yet another All-Star for Russell Westbrook? Or, do they decide to keep Russ while playing the long game and seeing how to build the team from the draft?

The OKC Thunder franchise is still up in the air, but the staff at Thunderous Intentions will keep you updated with all of the twists and turns this offseason.
