The matchups for the Brodie region.
1) Game five comeback against the Jazz vs 8) He’s too small celebration: There is a reason the Game five comeback is a one seed. The 25 point comeback is the last moment of playoff joy Thunder fans have to cling to in the Russ era.
2) Clippers Free throws vs 10) Fighting with the Warriors in 2016: The Clippers free throws were so critical and so nerve-racking, Kevin Durant could not even bear to watch as Westbrook stepped to the line. However, fighting with the Warriors was pretty cool.
3) Game winner vs Warriors vs 11) Mocking KD: The Game winner vs the Warriors was jaw-dropping, improbable, dazzling, breathtaking, and a summary of Westbrook’s career with the Thunder.
4) Going head-to-head with KD vs 5) Perfect triple-double: Going head-to-head with Kevin Durant was one of the loudest experiences ever in Chesapeake Energy Arena. This four seed has a chance to waltz to the Final Four, and I do not think the perfect triple-double even stands a chance.
