Although November 19 (7:30 p.m CT) at Staples will mark Mike Muscala‘s first meeting before his old Lakers squad, odds are it won’t carry the same angst as the players noted above. Rather, this game will be more about witnessing LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the same floor.
After a season spent by Davis and his Klutch Sports Group Agent, Rich Paul aggressively pursuing his trade to the Lakers the Pelicans held fast until the offseason.
When the Pelicans finally pulled the plug it came with David Griffin at the helm and he made quick work of Rob Pelinka voiding him of most of his talent along with several draft picks.
Davis experienced two solid showings against the Thunder while in New Orleans but his last game was more pedestrian with AD only playing 16 minutes.
