In closing:

Despite some questionable contracts at the top (Paul, Adams, Schroder) the Thunder are a team currently in a good position cap-wise.

More from Thunder News

Paul will be expiring in three years (if not traded) and can still provide the Thunder with great play on the court. Schroder, while being overpaid, isn’t a total albatross of a deal like Meyers Leonard or Chandler Parsons, he’ll be expiring in two years. Adams is the same way.

The Thunder have two valuable expiring contracts in Gallinari and Roberson that can likely net them positive value in a trade over the next season.

Aside from the top five, the Thunder have a ton of players on cheap deals, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Terrance Ferguson.
