OKC Thunder acquires the draft rights to Andre Roberson:

This one isn’t quite the blockbuster trade the previous two were, but it ended up to be a pretty profitable acquisition. Andre Roberson doesn’t do the exciting stuff like putting up 30 points per game but he is still a big key to the club’s success when healthy.

Roberson’s value comes from his effort and willingness to do the dirty stuff like dive on the floor, rebound, and defend. When healthy Roberson is known as one of the top perimeter defenders in the league and this is what has earned him over 250 career starts with the Thunder.

For comparison’s sake, Roberson has definitely made more of a mark on the league than Archie Goodwin. Goodwin actually ended up with the Phoenix Suns only starting 15 career games and is no longer in the league. Solely grading the trade on this perspective is a huge win for the Thunder.

Roberson has definitely had a better career than Goodwin and should have plenty of good basketball still ahead of him.
