No. 24: Phoenix Suns – GO the Gorilla

The Phoenix Suns mascot GO the Gorilla punny name is far from the most exciting aspect of his character as a mascot. Yes, GO is renowned all throughout Phoneix for being the most aerodynamic herbivorous ape in the country. Ironically, this means he doesn’t require the use of shorts.

Without a doubt, Go is ranked top ten in mascot dunking, however, his attire is all that is holding him back. He is one of the funniest mascots in the entire NBA, so that’s something he can add to his claim to fame.

Sadly, I really think they expended all the imagination they had coming up with GO the Gorilla “pun-fortunate” name, that by the time they got to his design they had nothing left.

No disrespect intended, but at the end of the day, he’s a dunking gorilla. Don’t think about it too much.
