Tamberlyn Richardson:

Several things —-

  1. Darius Bazley and Deonte Burton‘s capability when (IF) they are unleashed
  2. Perimeter and free throw shooting improvement
  3. Danilo Gallinari is one of the NBA’s best kept secrets
  4. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has the potential to be a future All-Star and All-Defensive player
  5. Steven Adams can rebound on the defensive glass

Rylan Stiles:

How good Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is. When the OKC Thunder and Billy Donovan just take the restrictions off Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and allow him to fully control this team fans will be taken aback by just how good he is. He did not earn the spotlight of Luka Doncic and Trae Young a year ago, but he was incredible in his own right.

Noah Schulte:

The subtle dominance of Danilo Gallinari. Speaking as a Denver Nuggets fan who watched him for years, there’s nothing more entertaining than realizing how dominant a scorer Danilo Gallinari really is.

Aidan E:

The three-point shooting. The current starting lineup has really good perimeter shooting, however, the bench is an entirely different story.

Chase Beal-Sharp:

I believe that there are two things that might end up surprising fans outside of the ball/player movement and that is the skill level of the young talent and the success the currently constructed team is capable of having. By the skill level, I am talking about the kind of success the young talent is capable of having and the statistics they can put up.

I believe that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will show a lot of improvement this season and I have him on my sleepers list. By the success of the team, if they do not make any trades, I believe that the team will surprise people and earn a seventh or eighth seed. That means that they will exceed expectations.

Matthew Hallet:

This team has the potential to move up the NBA charts in 3-point shooting

Kevon Stewart:

The aggressiveness that the team will play with this year. We can see from their preseason game against the Mavs. The OKC Thunder are playing with a chip on their shoulders. They shouldn’t be immediately dismissed as some of the NBA media have already done.

Tyler Barger:

The way that this team is so athletic.  Also, everyone on this team can shoot.
