Every top team will go through ebbs and flows and suggesting the Clippers won’t is naive. For as much as the early success has shown the overwhelming potential of this squad the fact remains they’ve had little time to mesh.

The Spurs match highlighted how LA can potentially be stopped and the isolation ball spoke to the lack of minutes played as a unit.

Conversely, the manner with which the club dissected the Mavericks fell on the opposite end of the spectrum, albeit Dallas and the 20-year-old wunderkid was due for an off game.
