30. team. 125. . 6-24. Previous: 28th. Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta Hawks:

Offense: (104.4) 27th
Defense: (113.9) 28th
Net: (minus -9.6) 30th

Games Week 9: ( 0-3) Lost to Knicks: 120-143, Jazz: 106-111, Nets: 112-122
Games Week 10 (3 games): Mon at Cavaliers, | Fri. vs. Bucks | Sat.at Bulls

John Collins returns this week and that should afford the Hawks more opportunities at least against the lower-tier clubs. Hopefully, it will also aid the struggling defense.

Last season Trae Young recorded one 40 point game with a 49 point outing versus the Bulls. This year he already has four with two in one week as he scored 42 versus the Knicks and 47 against the Nets. Unfortunately, neither was enough to capture a victory.

Although most highlights will focus on Trae Young’s offensive assaults like those 40 plus point efforts there is another feel good story to latch onto which is that guy who seemingly never ages — Vince Carter.

In true character of the fans of the Mecca, Knicks fans gave Carter a rousing ovation in honor of the half man – half amazing’s career.
