Previous: 30th. Atlanta Hawks. 29. team. 125. . 8-28

Atlanta Hawks:

Offense: (103.3) 30th
Defense: (112.8) 28th
Net: (minus -9.5) 30th

Games Week 11 ( 2-1 ): Won vs. Magic: 101-93, Pacers 116-111 Lost to Celtics 106-109
Games Week 12 (4 games): Mon vs. Nuggets | Weds vs. Rockets | Fri at Wizards | Sun at Nets

With a win over the Magic, the Hawks ended a second losing streak of 10 games. If they keep up this pattern they’ll be good for at least three more wins on the season.

In all seriousness, this was a very good week for the Hawks who won twice and were on hand to witness the first player (Vince Carter) to play in four different decades. Half man- half amazing …. indeed!

Overall, the year hasn’t worked out how the brain trust in Atlanta was hoping. The suspension of John Collins resulted in the team having to function without a primary contributor. Several ankle injuries to Trae Young didn’t help.

As for what the Hawks can do moving forward with a winning week in their pocket it’s important to gauge the talent they have. Kevin Huerter‘s copious injuries have hampered his sophomore season which means management hasn’t been able to fully gauge his value. Conversely, rookie De’Andre Hunter has demonstrated signs of becoming a key cog in the future core.
