OKC Thunder:

Offense: (108.5) 20th
Defense: (107.1) 13th
Net: (plus +1.5) 13th

Games Week 12 (2-2): Won vs. Nets 111-103 (OT), Rockets: 113-92, Lost vs. 76ers: 113-120, Lakers: 110-125
Games Week 13 (4 games): Mon at Wolves | Weds vs. Raptors | Fri vs. Heat | Sat vs. Blazers

An up and down week for the OKC Thunder who pulled off an emotional victory over the Rockets by playing them out of the gym. That was the high point of week 12. The low point came immediately after as the team coughed up a lackluster effort versus the severely undermanned LA Lakers who didn’t have LeBron James, Anthony Davis or Danny Green in the lineup due to various ailments.

In fact, the performance of the Kyle Kuzma against the Thunder may very well save his spot on the team as he had failed to impress up to that point (or conversely, if LeBron wants him out that performance could be the film they use to solicit bidders for his services).

This week also earmarked the neon flashing warning signal of the reliance on their clutch time prowess. They’ve gotten out of so many games via comeback efforts to beat teams at the end that it’s started to become something they seemingly rely on too heavily.
