Another week of drama in the Land as either coaches or players were trying to get Head Coach John Beilein ousted. As several TV analysts and writers have opined he’s lost the locker room already and that seems to stem from the veterans.

Early in the season, it was the youngsters who were complaining and the vets had Beilein’s back. But the veteran College coach seemingly tweaked his system to focus on the youngsters which haven’t consistently paid dividends and it’s frustrating the veteran talents like Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love.

The curious part of the leaked news regarding what Beilein said in the film session is:

1) why didn’t his assistant coaches address it right then and there?

2) if it was players who leaked this – then it’s clear they just want him gone.

It feels like a double-edged sword where players want him out and assistants want his job. However, it doesn’t look like that’s about to happen as Koby Altman has stated the franchise is supporting the man at the helm. That and the fact he signed a five-year deal might have something to do with that stance!

Whatever the case the coach and team got on the same page to collect two wins including a big one over the Nuggets.
