Detroit Pistons. 24. team. 64. . 16-27. Previous: 23rd

Detroit Pistons:

Offense: (109.6) 16th
Defense: (111.3)  21st
Net: (minus -1.7) 17th

Games Week 13 (2-1): Won vs. Celtics: 116-103, Hawks:136-103, Lost vs. Pelicans: 110-117
Games Week 14 (4 games): Mon at Wizards | Weds vs. Kings | Fri vs. Grizzlies | Sat vs. Nets

A huge win over the Celtics and a complete rout of the Hawks highlighted the week in Detroit. Still, the fact this team tends to have their best efforts based on nights the offense is ticking points to part of the problems in Motor City.

That they can’t string together defensive efforts is disconcerting and a sign perhaps Dwane Casey doesn’t have the ear of his team.

Derrick Rose and Andre Drummond keep popping up in trade rumors yet the most compelling news out of Detroit is the emergence of Sekou Doumbouya who has double-figure scoring efforts in seven of his last nine appearances with his 24 points in the Celtics game a career-high. The youngster just turned 19 so there is plenty to come from this exciting player from Guinea.
