Can the Miami Heat land some help at the deadline?

The Miami Heat have been one of the biggest storylines in the NBA. When Jimmy Butler elected to land in South Beach, most people laughed. Pulled up quotes from him saying all he wanted to do was win and questioned if that was true. Now, the Heat sits at 34-15, jostling for a top-three seed in the Eastern Conference.

Outside of just the phenomenal Miami Vice jerseys and court, which never gets old, this is a very fun team to watch. Bam is playing at an All-Star level, Tyler Herro is showing why he was our 2019 NBA Draft crush here at TI, and everything is falling into place.

The Heat seems like a team that can make a run to the conference finals, and meets up with what looks like a buzzsaw in the Milwaukee Bucks. Still, though, it will be a tough road, they will need reinforcements to go up against the likes of the Toronto Raptors, and Boston Celtics. The 76ers are a total mess, but they will be a tough out too.

The problem is the Heat salary cap. How can they logistically improve this team? Well, in come the OKC Thunder, who hold one of the players Miami is most high on. The sharpshooting services of Danilo Gallinari. The Miami Heat have let their interest in Gallo be known, but do the Thunder want to move him? And if they do is there a package that Miami can offer that is worth it?

I mean, would you accept a package of Meyers Leonard and Justice Winslow and maybe draft compensation?  Does that excite you at all? Could you get more than that for the sharpshooting forward? Does keeping Gallo around do more for your team than grabbing Winslow?

Would the Miami Heat even part with Winslow for Gallo? It is all super interesting and has a ton of questions around it. I just do not think there is enough time to figure everything out and get this deal done prior to the deadline.
