NBA Power Rankings week 16: OKC Thunder and teams post deadline
Milwaukee Bucks:
Offense: (113.4) 2nd
Defense: (101.5) 1st
Net: (Plus +11.9) 1st
Results Week 16: (3-0) Won vs Pelicans: 120-108, 76ers: 112-101,Magic: 111-95
Games Week 17: (2 games) Mon vs Kings | Weds at Pacers
This Bucks team is rolling without any fanfare which is a slight given they are on pace to enter that rare 70 or more wins territory. The big question for this club won’t be answered in the regular season though. Everything rests on the postseason and Coach Budenholzer also has something to prove since he’s delivered in the season but not exactly feasted after April. His Hawks squads were great in season but failed to get past any of the LeBron James teams.

The difference this year is Coach Bud has the best player in the Greek Freak — but will the “others” be able to deliver if opponents find a way to limit Antetokounmpo? Or conversely, teams might elect to let Giannis get his and shut everyone else down.
As things stand today the other thing which ‘could’ be different for Milwaukee in the postseason is who they play in the second round.
Last year they had an easy go facing an injury-riddled Pistons squad in the first round and then the Celtics in the second round who beat the Pacers easily in round one but were clearly in emotional turmoil.
That wraps up week 16 of the NBA Power Rankings. A tad late this week so week 17 will follow shortly. Where do you have the teams ranking in your listings? Let us know in the comments section.
