66. . 22-33. Previous: 20th. Phoenix Suns. 20. team

Phoenix Suns:

Offense: (109.9) 17th
Defense: (110.7) tied 18th
Net: (minus -0.9) 15th

Results Week 17: (1-1) Won vs. Warriors: 112-106, Lost vs.Lakers: 100-125
Games Week 18: (2 games) Fri at Raptors | Sat at Bulls

This placement feels a tad high and maybe is in part due to the way the Suns came out of the gate at season start and the belief there is still something to be salvaged. They don’t have the same excuses as teams who were mired by constant injuries. Nor can they blame not having a quality guard to run the point (Ricky Rubio) or the coaching role as the steady hand of Monty Williams has proven to be an upgrade.

Still, Phoenix is 6.5 games out of the eighth seed and virtually has no shot of making up the difference.

Devin Booker got his shot in the All-Star Game with the injury to Damian Lillard and the big question moving forward will be whether the Suns invest in the core they have or try to shuffle some pieces in search of the perfect partners to pair alongside the youngster.
