Stock flatlining: Nico Mannion, G, Arizona, 8th in my Mock

Nico Mannion has already declared for the NBA Draft, after his first year at Arizona. Mannion, who was once seen as a 3-point snipper only shot 32 percent from deep at the college level.

More from Thunder News

The 6’3 guard scored 14 points per game, with two rebounds and five assists. Arizona went 20-11 this season, and look to make a PAC-12 Tournament run starting on Wednesday at 4:30 CST, and build up their tournament resume.

Already knowing his college decision gives Mannion a bit more attention during the conference tournament week. I love the upside, and his modern-day playstyle which is why I have him at 8th in my Mock, but I think he still has a lot to prove.

This first game against Washington will tell a lot. If Mannion’s shot can not fall from deep, he will be forced to drive in on two Washington big men slotted to go in the first round of the NBA Draft in June. How can he impact and control a high-pressure winner-take-all game?

We will find out soon.
