Paul gets the last laugh:
Ultimately, there will be questions to be answered by the OKC Thunder GM this offseason regarding Paul.

The Thunder haven’t lost a step and may, in fact, have a better team and playoff opportunity this season than they did last year. Presti can take credit for the moves he made but on the court, it is Chris Paul who warrants all the accolades.
As such, the GM must decide if moving Paul to a covetous team is worth it. How would it affect the Thunder if they lost their clutch time king and is there value in retaining him to build upon the accomplishments made this season.
Those questions may not be able to be fully considered until after the playoffs. No doubt, the input of Gilgeous-Alexander will also be considered.
What we don’t know is whether Chris Paul will remain with the Thunder next season or take his talents to a new squad.
What we do know is everyone was wrong about Chris Paul’s contract.
And, as the Point God prepares to push his team into a home-court seed with a win this evening, no doubt Paul is getting great satisfaction from proving the naysayers wrong yet again.
