The triple win for OKC Thunder:
When the season is over and the “real vote” occurs it’s a good bet the Greek Freak repeats. It’s hard to imagine LeBron doing enough to make up enough ground particularly with the extended layoff and all teams returning rusty

The big takeaway from this straw poll, however, is the triple win for CP3, Sam Presti, and the OKC Thunder. Paul’s placement on this list at seven re-confirms his value, which equates to the GM being able to increase his asking price to teams who inquire about Paul and that leverage ultimately benefits the Thunder future.
Paul is the one having the last laugh this season. In fact, I think he should be added to the elusive group that only the Spurs and Gregg Popovich have occupied until now. Frequent T.I. readers are aware of the narrator refusing to omit the Spurs and Pop from playoff seeds after suffering scars for betting against them some years back.
Ironically, it does appear like this is the end of the run. Then again, if Adam Silver elects to do a play in for the final seed – — don’t count them out.
As for Paul, it’s doubtful anyone will underestimate or undervalue him again.
