4 reasons RJ Hampton is a great fit with OKC Thunder
OKC style of play:
The 2019-20 OKC Thunder play with a lot of speed and ball movement. Their system calls for using every player on the roster. Billy Donovan has shown via Luguentz Dort it doesn’t matter if you’re a ten-year veteran or a rookie on a two-way contract.

Extending this thinking beyond this season it would mean RJ Hampton would get the chance to be on a team that is successful while still being able to learn and progress via his natural growth and development.
As well as the agile players on the Thunder, the quickness and spring the team brings to the court are right up Hampton’s alley with the style of play he provides.
RJ is a promising player with a bright future ahead and wherever he goes even if it’s not the Thunder, he will no doubt make a significant impact.
That said if Hampton’s name is called on draft night for the Thunder it bodes well for the team.
