The final verdict:

The big man is not only a hit on the court but a hit off it as well. We could survey 100 different OKC Thunder fans, and each one of us would have a different Steven Adams memory.

Like that time he was followed around by a camera crew as he was shopping for a house in Oklahoma City. Or the famous bromance with Enes Kanter that spiraled into the “Stache bros” helping campaign for Russell Westbrook to hoist the MVP trophy. His book that really showed off his personality, and caused some drama as well.

More from Thunderous Intentions

From the memories that he has made on the floor. The touchdown passes this year, the diving for loose balls, his wacky celebrations, rim rolling and rotating.

The Big Kiwi has been just what the doctor ordered for the OKC Thunder. A solidified center that compliments the cast around him well.

It obviously has not been perfect, nothing ever is. Last year, he was played off the floor in the postseason against Portland and his old running man, Enes Kanter. The same guy that OKC Thunder fans hated to see on the floor in the postseason when he was on their team, torched them a year ago.

Against the Utah Jazz the year prior, he was not much better. That leaves some room for skepticism. His body has broken down by the end of each of the last two seasons, as well.

This postseason was going to be a huge measuring stick, and now we have to wait a little bit longer to see that unfold.

Given the lack of misses by Sam Presti and the impressive play of Adams, this might be the highest re-grade we will have in this series.

The Final Re-grade: A

The only thing stopping this from being an A+ re-grade is the fact that Giannis was still on the board. Steven Adams has been awesome and deserves more praise than he gets.
