January 7th at Brooklyn Nets:
A thrilling night at Barclays Center featured another comeback for the clutch time crew with the captain leading the way. In the fourth quarter and overtime, CP3 scored 20 of his 28 points
While the man with the best fro in the business — Jarrett Allen had a great game through three and a half quarters including a jaw-dropping dunk, Paul feasted on him late in the match. In the video highlights if you check the late fourth quarter and overtime you can see how often CP3 attacks Allen and scores on virtually every possession, except once when he dribbled the ball off his foot.
This was another example of the vet’s high I.Q. recognizing where the matchup benefit was and he went to work making Allen pay by isolating on him and nailing mid-range after mid-range money shots.
His final tally also featured six rebounds, three assists, two steals while connecting on half of his 3-point shots (4 of 8).
