Four-way race for two seeds in West Play-in Tournament

Grizzlies (33-38): Memphis has two games remaining versus the Celtics and Bucks. Although these are tough opponents with both locked into their seeds neither will push for the win at the expense of a core player getting injured. That bodes well for the Grizzlies.

Blazers (33-39) -0.5: Portland has two games remaining facing the Mavericks and Nets.

Spurs (31-38) -1.0: Two games remaining facing tough opponents (Rockets, Jazz) who are also seeking to secure specific seeds.

Suns (31-39) -1.5:  It’s conceivable the Phoenix Suns could go unbeaten in the bubble and still not get one of the two seeds for the play-in tournament. Of the six West teams who were vying for those two play-in berths, the Suns had the hardest seeding schedule based on opponent cumulative win percentage. Their final three games feature the OKC Thunder, 76ers, and Mavericks.
