Eric Gordon providing two-way challenge:

Eric Gordon, similar to Rivers and McLemore is capable of having a tremendous scoring night and is also a good defender.

More from Thunderous Intentions

Gordon will come out wanting to be aggressive on both ends of the floor and to disrupt the Thunder’s shooting flow.

This season Gordon recorded 14.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. Despite it not being the best year in terms of scoring and injuries, the playoff environment will surely provide motivation for him to play better.

It can either bring out the best in a player or reveal their flaws and fatigue from the season. Gordon says he’s ready for the challenge.

According to Michael Shapiro of Sports Illustrated after the Rockets game against the Pacers last Wednesday, Gordon said “I’ve still got to get my timing back right and mechanics of getting into my shot. That will come in time. But it was good to show explosiveness…”

It’s going to be interesting to see how these players fare and what the response from the OKC Thunder will be.
