No. 2: OKC Thunder vets will bring their best throughout the season

George Hill is proving to become everything Sam Presti could have asked for as his leadership is always on full display. Hill was all over the place tonight, whether he was dishing the ball or getting his rebound after multiple efforts. The latter is highly impressive because Hill is 34 years old, and the wear and tear on his body have yet to impede his competitive spirit.

What stands out most is Hill’s uncanny ability to drive to the basket. He can use the defender’s contact to his advantage, giving him the ability to produce more 3-point plays.

Check out this clip from the OKC Thunder Twitter account that highlights Hill’s ability to get downhill, but it happens seamlessly:

This type of ability to drive is exactly why OKC had 48 points in the paint tonight, and the fact that Hill was able to contort his body to get enough space to make that easy layup over Rudy Gobert is noteworthy.

Horford and Mike Muscala’s ability continues to be something to monitor as the veterans continue to connect from 3-point land.

Al filled up the basket quickly on Monday night as he went 4 of 5 from behind the arc by the seven-minute mark in the first quarter.

Expect these leaders to bring this consistency on a regular basis.
