No. 2)  Bazley fills the stat sheet

Darius Bazley’s double-double in the first half set the tone for the Thunder.  He finished the game with a MONSTER 21 point, 16 rebound performance with this being his career-high for rebounds. He also added three assists and a steal.

Baze’s ability to start strong was hugely beneficial for OKC. Not to mention his aggression and hustle on the boards are second to none. We forget sometimes that this guy is only 20 years of age.

He showed against the Lakers that he is such a versatile player. He shot seven of 21 from the field and though he did take a lot of shots, it just shows his willingness to never give up. To continue trying until he succeeds.

This match was Bazley’s eighth straight scoring in double-figures. He had a tough start to the season with offensive trouble, but he is finding his feet and showing us how great he can be.
