OKC Thunder: 2 trades to consider for NBA’s least desirable contracts

The OKC Thunder are a team that, though are in the midst of a full out franchise reset, find themselves competing on every given night.
From their impressive victories against Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns, and Brooklyn Nets to their down to the wire losses to the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers, Oklahoma City, despite their rebuild and youthful roster, are exemplifying the “never say die” culture that fans have grown accustomed to over their 13-year existence.
Now, with this level of play, the conversation has begun amongst fans — should they tank, or should they compete?
For some, the “fade for Cade” narrative still applies.
For others, the anti-tank sentiment has begun.
No matter which narrative you may have, a mutual agreement can be found: by season’s end, OKC must make some trades.

Over the past few months, we here at TI have concocted several scenarios in which the Thunder make moves, either to strengthen their prospects in the now or for the future.
Today, we try something new: composing deals for undesirable contracts.
At first glance, this idea may sound a bit perplexing, as this current Oklahoma City squad is still trying to find its identity. However, when trading for undesirables, a team can either offload contracts they feel to be even less appealing than the one they are receiving in return or, even better, they can nab a pick or two in the process.
