OKC Thunder: three bold predictions for 2021-22 season

The OKC Thunder begins yet another season in Bricktown on Wednesday as the NBA tips off their 75th season. The 2021-22 NBA season begins on Tuesday with the Brooklyn Nets taking on the Milwaukee Bucks and the L.A. Lakers taking on the Golden State Warriors as a precursor to the Oklahoma City Thunder starting their season on the road in Salt Lake City against the Utah Jazz.
With a new season comes preview content! Where will each team finish? Who will win each NBA award? Who will make All-Rookie, Defensive, NBA teams? Who will win the NBA Championship? And of course, bold predictions! How can your preview or take be different? What limb are you willing to crawl out on and hop it does not snap in half?

Certain predictions are almost a shoo-in, while sports and the NBA are random and anything can happen, projecting the Thunder to finish at the top of the reserve standings is not a hot take or a bold prediction.
