Injuries and projected starting lineups:

Wizards projected starting lineup:

Again, the trade of Westbrook had a massive impact on the Wizards with three of the new acquisition either coming over in that trade or because money was freed up (Dinwiddie) are in the starting lineup.

  • Spencer Dinwiddie  – point guard
  • Bradley Beal – shooting guard
  • Kentavious Caldwell-Pope- small forward
  • Kyle Kuzma- power forward
  • Daniel Gafford – center

Wizards injuries:

  • Thomas Bryant suffered an ACL tear last season and while he hasn’t played this season yet the Wizards have begun putting him on the injury report as questionable meaning he’s nearing a return.
  • Rui Hachimura is out for personal reasons which the team hasn’t expanded upon and has yet to play this year.
  • Also, watch for Wes Unseld to give one of his stars the night off which he’s done with both Dinwiddie and Beal in various matches already.

OKC Thunder injuries:

  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will miss his third game with an ankle sprain

History:

All-Time the Wizards and Thunder have faced each other 139 times with OKC holding the advantage winning on 74 occasions.

Last year the clubs played twice with Washington taking both matches..
