Injuries and projected starting lineups:

Grizzlies projected starting lineup:

  • Tyus Jones – point guard
  • Desmond Bane – shooting guard
  • Dillon Brooks – small forward
  • Jaren Jackson Jr. – power forward
  • Steven Adams – center

Grizzlies injuries:

  • Ja Morant (knee sprain) will keep the star out a few weeks as per Taylor Jenkins
  • Sam Merrill (ankle) is questionable to participate Thursday
  • Ziaire Williams (knee) is day to day.

OKC Thunder injuries:

  • Josh Giddey missed Wednesday with the flu and is questionable for tonight
  • Ditto for Derrick Favors who also has the flu
  • Kenrich Williams (ankle) missed Wednesday and is also questionable
  • Darius Bazley was questionable with an elbow injury but played Wednesday.
  • Gabriel Deck was sent to OKC Blue on a G-League assignment.

History:

The clubs have played each other 95 times all-time with the Memphis Grizzlies possessing the upper hand winning 64 matches versus 31 by the OKC Thunder.

Last season,  the squads played on three occasions with the Grizzlies winning two of the three contests.

The Grizzlies and Thunder will play two more times this season with the next match in Memphis on December 20th and will wrap up the regular-season series in OKC on March 13th.
