Best OKC Thunder reserve performance:

A-. . F. Oklahoma City Thunder. OUSMANE DIENG

Ousmane Dieng had the best plus/minus of any Thunder player in Saturday’s game at a +11 while playing in the second-most minutes that he’s played in any game so far this season. He scored eight points on 3-4 shooting, including making two of his three three-point attempts. He assisted on five of his teammates’ scores and grabbed one offensive rebound to go with three defensive rebounds. He also stood his ground in the paint against Brook Lopez on defense, even on a night when Lopez looked like a force to be reckoned with.

Best opponent performance:

. C. Milwaukee Bucks. BROOK LOPEZ. A

Speaking of Brook Lopez, his shooting helped carry the Bucks to the win. Lopez shot 10-16 and made four three-pointers on his way to a 25-point performance. Three of his four three-pointers came within the first three minutes of the game. Lopez lived in the paint throughout the rest of the game and scored nine points in the fourth quarter to help the Bucks pull away.

The Thunder remained competitive on Saturday despite playing a Milwaukee team that looks like they will contend for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. They will look to snap their two-game losing streak when taking the court again on Monday night at 6:30 pm in Detroit as they match up against the 2-8 Pistons. They will return home next Wednesday to match up once again with the Bucks as they look for revenge.
