What is the plan for Ousmane Dieng at the NBA level for the rest of his rookie season?
The Oklahoma City Thunder currently controls an NBA Play-in spot. Still, development remains top of mind for the organization this season as the Thunder boast the second youngest roster in NBA history, only ahead of last year’s OKC squad.
I would expect that Ousmane Dieng will log some NBA minutes throughout the rest of the NBA season, especially if this team falters out of the gate and falls a few games out of the play-in with a few weeks to go.
Even if the team remains in control of a play-in spot, Mark Daigneault will find places to get their 11th overall pick into games of consequence down the stretch of this season.
As for the plan, I imagine Sunday and Tuesday; you will see Dieng shuffled back and forth as the Blue and Thunder play a double-header in the Paycom Center, with the Blue taking on the Skyhawks and Skyforce and the Thunder taking on the Kings.
Do not expect a heavy NBA workout for Ousmane Dieng with the Oklahoma City Thunder until around the middle of March, give or take, given the standings, but there are still a lot of development marks that Dieng can hit along the way with the OKC Blue.
