A possible death lineup for the OKC Thunder at Vegas Summer League offers a ton of intrigue for fans.

Listen, I am aware it is Summer League. Even beyond the awkward start times, questionable level of play, and adjusted rules, it is impossible to simply predict who will play in these games! Much less the outcomes or what is “real” or “fake.” For the purpose of this exercise, and given that the OKC Thunder just issued out an updated roster, let’s assume everyone on the roster will be eligible to play, at least against the Dallas Mavericks, on Saturday afternoon.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have the chance to roll out a borderline unfair lineup in Summer League on Saturday night. What if Kameron Woods rolls out a lineup of Cason Wallace, Tre Mann, Jalen Williams, Jaylin Williams, and Chet Holmgren? Whew, I am sweating already just thinking about it. Really, any lineup featuring Cason Wallace locking down the perimeter up top, funneling the action into Chet Holmgren to gobble up shots.

This can be OKC’s death lineup of the Summer, for however long these players remain on the court before graduating from Summer League. In fact, there is a shot that Jalen Williams, who shut it down after one Salt Lake City game, has already graduated from Summer League after a dominating performance. If that is the case, swap Jalen Williams for Ousmane Dieng.
