The schedule makers and basketball gods were quite kind to the OKC Thunder this season; they are slated to play the most games on National TV since the Russell Westbrook era.

The first match occurring on November 1, 2023, versus Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and the New Orleans Pelicans. The game is a prime-time rematch of their 2023 NBA Play-In Tournament contest. Here the Thunder narrowly defeated the Pelicans, 123-125.

Looking ahead to the OKC Thunder’s longest home stand of the 2023-24 season which is almost sure to capture momentum.

The rematch will air on Primetime ESPN and will be the third game of OKC Thunder’s longest home stand of the 2023-24 season, which is six games long.

The six consecutive home contests will be:

  • October 29th vs. Denver Nuggets
  • October 30th: vs. Detroit Pistons
  • November 1st: vs. New Orleans Pelicans
  • November 3rd: vs. Golden State Warriors
  • November 6th: vs. Atlanta Hawks
  • November 8th: vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

The home stand will include three Western Conference teams and Three Eastern Conference teams. The OKC Thunder playing six straight games inside Paycom Center so early on in the campaign will not only give fans an early and extended look at the squad, it could potentially provide the young Thunder an opportunity to gain some early season momentum now by getting off to a hot start.

Regarding home stands, the OKC Thunder will have one other five-game stretch at home and two four-game blocks at home, including their final four games of the season, which could be huge down the line regarding potential seeding implications.

Regarding the opponents for the OKC Thunder during the six-game stretch, these matchups could all be highly competitive and test the Thunder early on. The defending champion Nuggets visit for the home opener, and both Trae Young’s Hawks and Cade Cunningham’s Pistons will make their lone visit to Oklahoma City.

For what it’s worth, last season, the OKC Thunder’s longest home stand was seven consecutive contests, it came in December, and the team went 4-3.

Overall, the OKC Thunder schedule is very intriguing and features multiple stretches that appear to be very favorable for the team to go on a winning streak.
