Does this loss inspire the Thunder to make a move?

The Thunder is struggling at the moment, and the 2024 trade deadline is rapidly approaching, and the Thunder currently possess four first round picks in the upcoming 2024 draft.

In their last two games versus the Timberwolves and the Pistons, their need for additional size was on full display. Should they potentially target someone on the Pistons, such as Isaiah Stewart?

If not Stewart, then another big man because they need a bruiser. Think back to the rise of the Thunder in the past, they had to give up Jeff Green to bring in big man veteran Kendrick Perkins.

Perhaps, it is time to examine moving not only draft capital to bring in a roster upgrade, but one of their young players as well, such as Josh Giddey. If they elect to go in that direction, they would likely need to bring in an additional ball handler as well.

The Thunder will be back in action on Wednesday at home against the Denver Nuggets in one of those aforementioned vital division games. If the Thunder win, they will move back into second place. If they lose, they risk dropping to fourth behind the Los Angeles Clippers, who will be in action against the Washington Wizards.
