Jalen "Scorching Hot" Williams

Jalen Williams is currently playing at an exceptional level, perhaps the highest in his career. He has been consistently delivering great performances, most recently hitting the game-winner over the Blazers on Tuesday night.

His skills and abilities have been on full display, and he is quickly establishing himself as a star player in this league. And, his recent numbers have been off the charts, let's take a look below:

His scoring has jumped every month this season, starting out at 15 points per game on 47 percent shooting in October, fast forward to his 12 game played in January and he is scoring 20 points per game on 60 percent shooting.

Among 108 players in January to attempt 100 or more shots, Willaims is shooting the fifth highest percent from the floor. Among those 108 players, he has the third highest three-point percentage.

Looking a bit deeper, in 12 January appearances, Williams has shot below 50 percent only three times. In his last five games he has shot 45 percent, 33 percent, 78 percent, 71 percent, and 55 percent.

Will these numbers continue? It is unclear at this time, however anything is possible, and if they do OKC will have an excellent chance to remain atop the Western Conference for the remainder of the season.
