It has been quite a boring few months since the OKC Thunder were eliminated from the West Semifinals in six games by the eventual conference kings, the Dallas Mavericks.

Sure, Sam Presti and company have remained active with their offseason dealings, as they signed arguably the most sought-after big man on the free agency market in Isaiah Hartenstein, locked down promising young studs Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins to long-term deals, and snatched up three new faces during the 2024 NBA Draft.

That said, despite all these notable happenings, Oklahoma City fans still miss and have been longing for the excitement that in-game action brings.

Fortunately, the wait to see them take to the hardwood again and gun for ultimate glory is inching closer and closer to being over, as the organization just reminded the fanbase of this with the release of their 2024 preseason schedule.

OKC Thunder full 2024 preseason schedule

The Thunder's return to action kicks off with a trip to San Antonio to take on the new-look Spurs tandem led by the likes of reigning Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama and splashy free agency signing, Chris Paul.

Right after this preseason tip-off, they'll remain in Texas for another two days for a date against the Houston Rockets, where they could find themselves squaring off against former franchise pivot Steven Adams, who, if active, would have only just made his return to in-game action following a 21-month absence from meaningful play as a result of a nagging knee ailment.

Taking into account all four matchups against other NBA teams (the New Zealand Breakers are part of the NBL), the Thunder accumulated a 9-5 record against each during the 2023-24 season.

Where to buy tickets to Thunder home preseason games

As things currently stand, tickets have officially gone on sale via Ticketmaster.com. However, the one available matchup slated to be held in Oklahoma City is their October 10 game against the New Zealand Breakers, though it's to be played at the BOK Center in Tulsa rather than at Paycom Center.

Here, ticket prices range anywhere from $8 to $81.

How to watch/ listen to Thunder preseason games

At this time, there is no information regarding how fans can tune into the 2024 preseason slate for the Thunder, as the team relayed in their press release: "Broadcast plans for the Thunder’s preseason games will be announced at a later date."

Even without any information on broadcasts, based on previous years, fans should expect some of, if not all of these Thunder games to be available on streaming services such as FUBO, while radio stations such as 98.1 FM and 640 AM in the OKC metro area are also likely to feater the exhibitions.
