Thunder: Top five point guards in Oklahoma City history

4. Derek Fisher
It’s a shame that the Thunder added Fisher late in his career.
Fisher was the backup point guard for Westbrook in parts of his last three seasons. His play suffered because of age and an overall decrease in minutes, but he still made a positive impact for the Thunder.
In Fisher’s first season with the Thunder, OKC went to the NBA Finals for their first and only appearance. KD was 23, Russ was 22; without the leadership of Fisher Oklahoma City would never have defeated the Spurs. He taught the young stars how to win in the most intense moments, an impact that nobody else on this list has on their resume.
