Ahhhh the surprise of the Thunder roster. Christon comes to OKC as the perfect third-string point guard. When he hits the court he plays at 200%; that’s exactly what you want from your deep bench.

With Cameron Payne out at least another month the Thunder will be relying on Christon to play minutes every night. Russell Westbrook is capable of playing 40 minutes a night and Victor Oladipo can spell him at times. But the pressure is still on Christon.

Sam Presti and Billy Donovan thought Christon was good enough to eat up Ronnie Price’s 5 million dollar contract. If he plays poorly, that move will look really bad considering the locker room presence Price could have added. I tend to think Christon will respond positively.
